The career studies certificate is just the beginning of your journey to a rewarding fire science career and includes courses in emergency services, hazardous materials chemistry, fire behavior, combustion and more. The associate degree curriculum focuses on fire suppression, fire science management, prevention, arson investigation and the mitigation of hazardous material accidents.
