The goal of Counseling support services is to assist students in developing the skills that are necessary in order to make wise decisions regarding their educational, career and personal challenges.

Counselors are available to assist students with educational, career and personal concerns throughout their college experience at Thomas Nelson. Our offices work closely with community agencies and resources, in order to make student referrals that are based on the needs of the students, when appropriate.

Students have an opportunity to discuss confidential, personal concerns in a nonjudgmental environment. These services are free to all currently enrolled Thomas Nelson students. The Office of Student Services works cooperatively with the faculty and staff that are part of the academic programs at the college, for the success and benefit of the students.

For information or a counseling appointment at either campus, please call (757) 825-2827 for the Hampton campus or (757) 253-4755 for the Historic Triangle campus.
