"Walk in Our Socks"  Volksmarch/Fun Walk 
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. - HT parking lot (start/finish line) 
 
Enjoy fun, fitness and camaraderie in the great outdoors.  Participants can choose from a 5K or 10K course that begins and ends at the HTC campus, or a 1 mile fun walk around the campus that starts at 12 noon.  Walkers on the 5K or 10K routes can begin any time between 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., and must finish their course by 5 p.m.  You can walk the trail of your choice for free by signing up here, or pay a $20 fee and support a military dependent scholarship fund at Thomas Nelson and a local armed forces charity.  Individuals who pay the registration fee will receive a Volksmarch t-shirt.    
 
Mindfulness Clinic
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - HT
 
Learn how to maintain a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.  This clinic will be presented by Tanika Houston, a Certified Behavioral Therapist from Riverside Health System.
 
Veterans Art Show
9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. - HT
 
Admire the creativity and artistic talent of military affiliated students, faculty and staff, and local veterans, who will display their work at the Williamsburg campus.
 
Health and Wellness Stations
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - HT
 
Take advantage of free health screenings, massage, aromatherapy and other offerings.

The impact of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is indisputable; it affects our students, friends, colleagues and their families.  Learn more about this condition and how we can assist those affected.  Our guest speaker is Capt (Dr) Matthew Begola, DO, staff psychiatrist at the Langley AFB Mental Health Clinic.

Your donation of gently used clothing will help benefit veterans and military families.
