Build a high-performance workforce with WorkKeys. The job skills assessment system measures “real world” skills that help employers with hiring, training and retention decisions. WorkKeys offers three tools to help you hire, train and retain a skilled workforce. Job Profiling, Gaps Analysis and the Employee Assessment are valuable tools for any occupation.
The assessment measures skill levels in eight different competencies:

- Reading comprehension
Career Readiness Certificate
Prove you have the reading, basic math and research skills that companies need with the Virginia Career Readiness Certificate (CRC). The assessment-based credential gives employers and the workforce a uniformed measure of key workplace skills. More than sixty area employers, including the Newport News Shipyard and Liebherr, value the Virginia CRC.
The CRC, graded at Gold, Silver and Bronze, provides a workplace skills certification that businesses can directly connect to productivity, quality, business processes, and profitability.
The CRC in Virginia is supported by the Virginia Workforce Council, Chamber of Commerce, AFL-CIO and the Virginia Manufacturers Association.
