Community Service

The Volunteer Community Service Scholarship program was founded in order to help students develop a love for service to others within their communities.

Students can earn $100.00 in tuition assistance per semester by volunteering to work 10 hours with an approved community agency or 15 hours assisting offices on campus.  All participants must register in advance by completing the form below:

Community Service Scholarship Registration Form

Below is a list of agencies and non-profits who have agreed to be part of our community service efforts. Please contact the individual or group listed below directly and set up a time to go to the site and begin your service hours. Print the Community Service Time Sheet found at the end of the list below and take with you to your service site. Bring completed and signed timesheet to the Office of Student Life and Leadership to receive your award letter. Funds will be credited to your student account by presenting the award letter to the cashier's office at either campus. Funds earned in the current semester can only be used toward tuition and must be used within the next two semesters. For example, funds earned during a spring semester can be used to offset $100.00 of summer or fall tuition costs. Students can earn $100.00 tuition assistance during each semester of enrollment to be used in a subsequent semester.
