Welcome to the Cybersecurity Center at Thomas Nelson

Thomas Nelson’s Cybersecurity program consists of two components: a Career Studies Certificate for those who already have a degree and are seeking specialization, and an AAS Program for incoming freshmen seeking a career in Cybersecurity, and Industry Certifications for those currently in the industry. Our AAS in IST degree with the Cybersecurity focus is transferable to many four-year institutions and offers students the opportunity to participate in Cybersecurity competitions and conferences.

Everything happens online these days, including crimes. Help others protect their information by studying Cybersecurity at Thomas Nelson. Our program will prepare you for employment in this in-demand field.

Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education for 2-year Colleges

The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have designated Thomas Nelson as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education for two-year institutions. This certification is valid for the academic years 2017 – 2022.
