Patrick Eugene Brown and Eugene C. Steinbrenner Memorial Scholarship

The Patrick Eugene Brown and Eugene C. Steinbrenner Memorial Scholarship was established by Jay and Marguerite Brown in May 2014. The scholarship represents a memorial for two men who died while serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. Senior Airman Patrick Eugene Brown's middle name came from his father, Eugene O. Brown, and indirectly from Captain Eugene C. Steinbrenner - for whom Eugene O. Brown was named by his parents in 1942. Senior Airman Brown and Captain Steinbrenner each died at age 24, and, in their tragically short lives, both had served their country with distinction.
