Campus Wi-Fi

Virginia Peninsula provides free Wi-Fi internet access at both campuses for students, faculty, staff, and guests. Users are required to sign-in to the Virginia Peninsula network in order to access campus Wi-Fi.

Connecting to Campus Wi-Fi

Student & Staff Access

Select and connect to "myVCCS" from your mobile device or laptop computer.

Use your MyVCCS username and password to sign in.

For Android & Chrome Devices:

1. From the Wi-Fi menu settings on your device choose "myVCCS" 
2. Connect to the network.
   1. Enter PEAP for EAP method.
   2. Enter MSChapv2 for Phase 2 Authentication. 
   3. Select “Do not validate or Do not check” for CA Certificate.
   4. Enter vccs.edu for Domain.
   5. Enter Identity.
   6. Enter Password.
3. Select Connect to join the network.

For iOS Devices:

1. From the Wi-Fi menu settings on your device choose "myVCCS" 
2. Enter your myVCCS username and password.
3. Select Join.

Faculty and Staff Access

Note: This option will begin working July 2023. 

1. Select and connect to" VPCC_Staff" from your mobile device or laptop computer wifi settings.
2. Enter VPCC login credentials without @vpcc.edu (e.g. doej)  
3. Connect to the network. (For Android & Chrome Devices)
   1. Enter PEAP for EAP method.
   2. Enter MSChapv2 for Phase 2 Authentication. 
   3. Select “Do not validate or Do not check” for CA Certificate.
   4. Enter vpcc.edu for Domain.
   5. Enter Identity.
   6. Enter Password.
4. Select Connect to join the network.

For iOS Devices:

1. From the Wi-Fi menu settings on your device choose "VPCC_STAFF" 
2. Enter your VPCC login credentials (e.g. doej)
3. Select Join.

Guest Access

A support ticket would need to be submitted for all guest that need access to wi-fi.
