Transitions – Steps for Graduating Dual Enrolled students continuing with VPCC

If you are planning to continue your studies at Virginia Peninsula Community College after your high school graduation, there are some steps you need to complete.

STEP 1

Take the Virginia Peninsula Enrollment Survey to update your student information.
Find it under the New Students tab on our https://www.vpcc.edu website, then Steps to Apply, then find Enrollment Survey in Step 3. You will use your MyVPCC username and password and list your GPA and highest math taken. Do not select “none of these”.

STEP 2

Identify a Program of Study/ major
All VPCC degrees and certificate programs are found in the VPCC College Catalog. Choose the catalog year then “Degrees and Programs”. Email dualenrollment@vpcc.edu with questions.

STEP 3

Fill out the Program Plan Declaration Form with your new Program of Study/major.

Send the completed, signed form to your DE Coordinator’s email listed on the form.

STEP 4

Ask your high school registrar to electronically send FINAL transcript to admissions@vpcc.edu. Also, if you have SAT, ACT or AP scores, ask the College Board to send them to VPCC. Complete the Transfer Evaluation Form if you are seeking any transfer credits.

STEP 5

Register for a New Student Orientation.

Fill out the FAFSA for Financial Aid for the upcoming school year.

Make an appointment with your Academic Advisor using Navigate.
Login to myVPCC and select the Navigate tile then Appointments.
Make an appointment with Office of Accessibility if you need any accommodations for your classes.
