Amanda McLeod received the 2014-2015 President's Award. The summa cum laude graduate earned the award for her exceptional academic performance and commitment to education. McLeod received an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. While juggling a heavy course load, McLeod provided private tutoring for students in accounting courses and was inducted into Thomas Nelson's Phi Sigma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
"Incredibly, I was able to complete a two-year degree in 18 months without student debt and, more importantly, all of my credits transferred. It is clear to me that [Success. It's Closer than You Think] is not just a slogan at Thomas Nelson. It is a promise for those who are willing to work for it," McLeod said.
